CCT presents the play SMILE ORANGE written by the late Trevor Rhone. There will be seven performances of this comedy at the Caribbean Community Theatre: Fridays and Saturdays, June 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25, 2016 at 8 PM, and a Sunday matinee on June 19 at 4 PM.
SMILE ORANGE is CCT’s final production its 31st season. Opal Palmer Adisa directs the talented cast of this Caribbean comedy: Tony Emanuel, Sasha Green, Tyson Henderson, Curtis Walters, and Michael Wright.
This popular play is a hilarious romp through a tourist-trap hotel by a well-known award-winning Jamaican playwright. “A savage little comedy.” – Sunday Telegraph. “A rollicking slapstick satire.” – Washington Star.
All performances will be held at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix between June 10 and June 25, 2016. Tickets are sold in advance online at www.cct.vi, or at the box office at CCT prior to each performance: $20 for adults; $18 for senior citizens (age 65+); $15 for college students with ID. Smile Orange is an adult comedy and NOT recommended for children under age 18. Box office opens for ticket sales at 7:15 PM on show nights, and at 3:15 PM for the Sunday matinée. Arrive early for best seating.
