The popular musical Cabaret will run all four weekends in February at CCT. Set in Weimar Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, Cabaret focuses on nightlife at the racy Kit Kat Klub, and on the relationship between alluring burlesque performer Sally Bowles and an American writer.

The production uses innovative choreography and puppetry, which serve to heighten the dramatic aspects of the story and add to the stunning visual spectacle. In addition to the title tune, Cabaret features memorable songs such as “Two Ladies,” “I Don’t Care Much,” “Mein Herr,” and “Maybe This Time.”

The production features Daniel Deane and Mariah Shabazz (pictured), Charles Braslow, Marilyn Chakroff, Katie Walsh, and many other talented actors, dancers and singers, with choreography by Kemit Amon-Lewis and Khnuma Simmonds.

This show is not recommended for children under 13.

We are pre-selling Cabaret tickets at CCT during January 2011: Saturdays and Sundays from 2 – 4 PM, and weekday evenings after 5:30 PM, by appointment.

Ticket prices for Cabaret are $25 for adult non-members; $23 for seniors; $20 for CCT members & college students with IDs; $15 for children under age 18; $12 for children CCT members.
