SISTER ACT MUSICAL AT CCT FOR 3 WEEKENDS
CCT presents the musical SISTER ACT from February 10 through February 25, 2023. There are seven chances to catch this show over three weekends. Show dates are February 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 & 25, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and one Sunday matinee at 4 PM on February 19, 2023.
Michael Armendariz directs this divine musical, and Dr. Meagan Dissinger is the music director, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Cheri & Bill Steinkellner, and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane. This musical is based on the Touchstone Pictures Motion Picture “Sister Act” written by Joseph Howard. Choreography is by Anais Alicea, Michael Armendariz and Serena Bishop.
Sister Act tells the popular story of a wayward woman who hides out in a convent and helps the sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own in this feel-good comedy smash based on the hit film starring Whoopi Goldberg.
The cast features the acting and singing talents of Shanell Petersen, Denise Blanchette, Daniel Deane, Lionel Downer, Jasmin Alanis Nieves Castro, Maren Roebuck, Leslie Highfield Carter, and Paul Knipler and includes an ensemble of Luca and Nico Forno D’Adamo, Tony Emanuel, J’had Ferris, Christina and Marina Gasperi, Megan Grant, Hilliard Hicks, Karen McIntosh-Bruce, Ava Moorman, Tyler Olson, Anil Prasad, Patricia Scott, Anna Simon, Jamile Smith and Tea Whittmann.

Tickets are $25 for adults, with discounts for CCT members, and may be purchased (for cash only) at the CCT box office prior to each show, which opens 45 minutes before curtain. This play is for mature audiences only and is not recommended for children under age 14. All performances are held at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix.
