Caribbean Community Theatre continues its 38th season with The Last Resort, a comedy written by St. Croix resident Tom Ziegler (March 17 – 26, 2023).

There are six performances over two weekends of The Last Resort at CCT: March 17, 18, 24 & 25, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and two Sunday matinee performances at 4 PM on March 19 & 26, 2023.

“In “The Last Resort” six people make life at a Long Island nursing home more lively than their keepers or relatives can stand. This place may be the last resort of the families that sent their elders to it, but to its inmates the last resort is escape, and even if the plotting of their breakout is hilariously inept, you keep hoping they will make it.”  (The New York Times)

Six actors will portray the residents of the senior home: Bob Gard, Paul Knipler, Nikki Lally, Beth Moss Mahar, Maurya McClure, and Marie Elise Witmer. Robin Seila plays the role of their nurse, and Gabe Gelardi plays the son of one of the characters. Michael Baker directs this funny and witty play.

Tickets are $20 for adults, with discounts for seniors, students and CCT members, and may be purchased (for cash only) at the CCT box office prior to each show, which opens 45 minutes before curtain.  For reservations, email: eileencct@gmail.com. For more information or directions to CCT, visit our website: www.cct.vi.
