I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE!
CCT presents I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change from February 25 through March 6, 2022. There are six chances to catch this show over two weekends. Show dates are February 25, 26, March 4 & 5, 2022, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and two Sunday matinees at 4 PM on January 27 & March 6, 2022.
Michael Armendariz directs this witty, adult musical revue, which features singers and actors Sean Bailey, Leslie Highfield Carter, Hailey Coates, Tony Emanuel, Hilliard Hicks, Alisha Udhwani, Téa Wittmann, and Michael Wright. Joshua Harvey is the music director and pianist, and Mario Thomas plays the bass guitar.
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts. It is the second longest-running show and longest-running revue in off-Broadway history. The musical was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award as an Outstanding Off-Broadway musical in 1997. This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as ‘the relationship.’ Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car, and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set.
This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, ‘Say, what are you doing Saturday night?’
Tickets are $25 for adults, with discounts for seniors, college students and CCT members, and may be purchased (for cash only) at the CCT box office prior to each show, which opens 45 minutes before curtain. Arrive early for best seating. This play is for mature audiences only and is not recommended for children under age 18. All performances are held at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix.

CCT utilizes an HVAC air cooling system that delivers sterilized, HEPA-filtered outside air directly into the auditorium at a rate that forces the inside air to be expelled through roof vents; delivering fresh, clean, germ-free air to the building every two minutes.
