Children’s Show at CCT Sunday, December 8th
On Sunday, December 8th, at 4 PM Caribbean Community Theatre will present the play “…AND A GROUNDHOG IN A PEAR TREE” – book and lyrics by Lindsay Price; Music by Kristin Gauthier. This show features the students of The Calico Cat Company, CCT’s after-school drama program for children.
About the show: Calendar Town is abuzz with preparations for the annual Holiday Ball at Calendar Castle…but when the 12 Days of Christmas go on strike and refuse to perform at the Ball, the lesser celebrated, “inferior” calendar days must band together to save the show.
The young actors (ages 7 to 12) will portray a variety of interesting and familiar characters, such as geese, swan, drummer, junebug, fish, partridge, and many more. This play is directed by Heather McRae and Kaila Francis and features the students of the Calico Cat Company: Talon Babin, Ayla Benton, Marin Bird, Asher and Lily Brantley, Cecilia Burgos, Kaiden Castillo, Montgomery Fritz, Charley Gay, Hazel Gilbert, Amelia Hielema, E’Xhyra Jackson, Nora Kammerzelt, Miles Kantowski, Madison Locher, Rafa Jadon Munroe, Rowan Pendley, Lily Reffell, Caydence Schmitzer, Lux Smith, Makenzie Duval Torres, and Avery Vaughan.
