Romantic Comedy at CCT

CCT continues its 37th season with The Affections of May by Norm Foster. There are six chances to catch this romantic comedy over two weekends. Show dates are March 25 & 26 and April 1 & 2, 2022, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and two matinees at 4 PM on Sundays, March 27 & April 3, 2022.

Featured in this play are Megan Grant, Wanson Harris, Jacob Hebert, and Tyler Olson, who are directed by Diana Prince.

So the story goes: When May and her husband put their savings into a small bed and breakfast inn, she discovers there are more ups and downs in the hospitality industry than she had bargained for. A mysterious stranger, nosy neighbors, and a bank overdraft all combine with marital stress to make her question the wisdom of their career move. Norm Foster, a popular Canadian playwright, crafted this very funny story of the vicissitudes of life and love in a small town.

Tickets are $20 for adults, with discounts for seniors, students and CCT members, and may be purchased (for cash only) at the CCT box office prior to each show, which opens 45 minutes before curtain. Please email eileencct@gmail.com for reservations, more information or directions. This play is not recommended for children under age 13. All performances are held at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix.

CCT productions are jointly supported by a grant from the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. This production is also co-sponsored by Broadband VI, Christiansted Apothecary Hall, Island Delivery Service, Marshall & Sterling Insurance, Team Consultants, Caledonia Communication Corporation, and MOMosa Monday on WSTX AM 970.

Masks are required for entry into CCT. Please cooperate in our continued attempts to stay safe and healthy by washing your hands and practice social distancing.

CCT utilizes a HVAC air cooling system which delivers sterilized, HEPA-filtered outside air directly into the auditorium at a rate that forces the inside air to be expelled through roof vents; delivering fresh, clean, germ-free air to the building every two minutes.
