The Caribbean Community Theatre presents Geology Rocks, a musical play by Ron Fink and John Heath, this Saturday and Sunday, April 28 & 29, 2018 at 4:00 PM (only two shows), featuring the students of The Calico Cat Company, CCT’s after-school theater program for children. This show has singing and dancing rocks, earthquakes that can really shake, and is about the composition and changing nature of the earth. “What is it, Holmes? Metamorphic? Igneous?” “Sedimentary, my dear Watson!” This smart, silly play with music and dance will appeal to the whole family.
Audience members will enjoy the talents of budding young actors as they portray a variety of interesting and familiar characters, such as Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, Professor Rock, ferns, volcanoes, a canyon, the seashore, Snow White, and much more. This show by kids and for kids is directed by Mary Olive Gosselink and Imani Evans.
Geology Rocks will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29, 2018 at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix. Tickets are sold at the box office at CCT prior to the performance: $5 for adults and teenagers; $2 for children age 12 and under. Box office opens for ticket sales at 3:15 PM on show dates; arrive early for best seating.
Come see this musical at CCT this weekend and enjoy some good family fun.
