Five Tellers Dancing in the Rain, set in the break room of a small bank in Mississippi, eavesdrops on the conversations of women who have for too long defined themselves in terms of their relationships with the men in their lives. Playwright Mark Dunn is the author of more than 25 full-length plays, and has received several national playwriting awards.
The play is directed by Christine Thomas, and the tellers are portrayed with Southern sass and charm by Nicole Gariepy, Joya Joseph, Becca Mendelson, Tish Mercier and Lorna M. Viotty.
Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, November 2-3, 9-10 and 16-17, 2012 at 8:00 PM, and Sunday afternoon, November 11, at 4:00 PM.
