The Caribbean Community Theatre presents the The Mysterious Case of the Missing Ring this Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM – one show only. This play is written by Janie Downey Maxwell, directed by Jan Hart and Sonja Sundaram, and stars the students of The Calico Cat Company, CCT’s after-school theater program for children.
The royal ring is missing, and the queen won’t sleep until the royal detectives find it! You’ve never met a more eccentric group all in one play — including Maximum Smarts and Agent 98 with their Umbrella of Silence; Willow Jones and his bumbling assistant, Oliver; Ms. Scarlet; Sheriff Bob; Inspector Change with a proverb for every occasion; the Professor (who’s always right, of course); Nancy and Jamie (clever girl detectives); Kat, who’s afraid of germs and even her own shadow; two tedious note-taking detectives; and Gypsy Rose the Fortune Teller. As they scour the Queendom in search of the royal ring, the maids follow the harried queen around while the devious butler spouts suspiciously evil laughs every time a clue goes awry. In this fast-paced, madcap mystery, you’ll find delightful comedy for all ages in every quirky character… and a surprise ending that rings true!
Audience members will enjoy the talents of several budding young actors and singers, and instructor Jan Hart’s piano students will also be on hand to provide entertainment.
The Mysterious Case of the Missing Ring will be held at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix.
Tickets are sold at the box office at CCT prior to the performance: $5 for adults and teenagers; $2 for children up to age 12. Box office opens for ticket sales at 2:15 PM on Saturday, December 6th; arrive early for best seating.
