The comedy Nobody’s Perfect opens at CCT this weekend and runs through May 20th.  There will be six performances of this play over two weekends: Fridays and Saturdays, May 11-12 and 18-19 at 8 PM, with two Sunday matinees on May 13th and 20th at 4 PM.

“Love is All Around” is a feminist publishing house where Harriet Copeland is running a competition to find new romantic fiction; their motto is ‘For Women, By Women’. To avoid this gender bias, Leonard Loftus is forced to submit his novel under a female pseudonym. So when Lulabelle Latiffa wins the first prize, Leonard realizes he has a major problem on his hands.  Hilarity ensues as domestic issues from his wayward daughter Dee Dee, and Gus, his rascally father, complicate matters even more. This state of affairs leaves Leonard’s head spinning as he tries to keep up with the tangled web he is weaving.

Nobody’s Perfect is written by Simon Williams, and Richard Clark directs this cast of four: Wendy Keeler Adams, Michael Baker, Paul Knipler, and Sky Slone.

Tickets are $20 for adults, with discounts for seniors, students and CCT members, and may be purchased at the CCT box office prior to each show, which opens 45 minutes before curtain.  This play is not recommended for children under age 13.

All performances are held at the Caribbean Community Theatre at #18 Estate Orange Grove in Christiansted, St. Croix.

CCT productions are jointly supported by a grant from the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
